We want to be a catalyst for agency and value around food, community, and artisanship. One of our goals is to have a true connection and commitment to our consumers, and ensure that they have a place at the table in the conversation about creating our food system.
Farmers, chefs, epicureans-they are all essential to a local ecology. And yet, WE NEED ARTISTS. Our model values the artists who make tables, who make paintings, who make plates. We are committed to ALL our sourcing, and we think you'll appreciate the plate and table you eat on as much as the food you'll eat
address food waste
Caring farmers are growing nutritious, delicious greens with no market because they've got bug holes or a short shelf life. We aim to offer the creativity and culinary adaptability to ensure that these ugly but awesome ingredients get featured on menus.
make real food
From the burger buns to the ketchup, we make the food you eat here. This allows us to use more community sourced ingredients (eggs! and tomatoes!). And it allow our chefs to shine as they play their part in creating the food-and culture-we want.
collaborate with farmers
In all of this work with artists, with farmers, and with community, we aim to create connections between each other, our experience, and our ecology. Is it the tasty jus that made you really appreciate fresh herbs? Is it sitting at the community table that got you to meet a new friend? Is it the student made bowl that inspired you to think about all the elements or creative local experincence? If so, then we have done our jobs.
